Land in Zanzibar and get swept straight into island time. You're picked up, dropped beachside, and handed a welcome drink before your bags even hit the floor. By sunset the group on the sand for a welcome dinner with live taarab music playing you into the trip. 

First night. First "wait, we're actually here" moment.

Stone Town isn't a photo-op, it's a time machine. You'll walk through 1883 palaces, coral-stone alleyways, and a fort that's watched sultans, traders and empires come and go. As the sun sets, the group descends on Forodhani Gardens night market for Zanzibar pizza, urojo soup and skewered seafood, eaten shoulder to shoulder at the street stalls.




Stone Town; Where History Never Left

Morning spice farm tour; smell, taste and touch cloves, nutmeg, cinnamon and vanilla growing wild, and find out why this island was once worth more per acre than gold. 

Then it's a short boat ride to Prison Island (Changuu) to meet the giant Aldabra tortoises, some over 100 years old, and snorkel the reef just offshore. 

Round off the day with a group sunset dhow cruise on a traditional wooden sailboat, drinks in hand, sky on fire.

Track red colobus monkeys, found nowhere else on Earth through Jozani Forest, then head south to sit with a Maasai community and see the seaweed farms run entirely by local women.

Full-day Safari Blue sail, coral gardens, a sandbank seafood lunch, dolphins if you're lucky. Then the sun goes down and the real party starts: a beach bonfire with local drummers, one last big dinner, and a night nobody wants to end.

Free morning for a final swim, souvenir shopping in Stone Town's markets, or an optional hands-on cooking class with a local mama learning to make Zanzibari coconut curry.
